Ellatzite-Med AD has become the first mining company in Bulgaria to achieve certification to the international standard ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management Systems. With the implementation of this standard, the company has upgraded its Integrated Management System (IMS).
After the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union, GEOTECHMIN Group has introduced new management practices and improved quality management systems. The company obtained its sixth international certificate – ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management Systems after a certification audit. The application of this standard aims to reduce environmental impacts and energy costs by means of systematic energy management.
The international standards implemented by Ellatzite-Med AD serve as a solid foundation for providing high quality products and services, continuous pursuit of more efficient business processes and responsibility for sustainable development.
