There is evidence that organized life existed 7000 years ago.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chavdar Municipality consists of one settlement &#8211; the village of Chavdar. The village is located in Sofia District in Zlatitsa-Pirdop valley with an average altitude of 570 meters, and to the north it borders with The Balkan Mountains and south enters Sredna gora mountain. It is situated 3 km. south of Highway I-6 (Sofia &#8211; Burgas), providing direct access to capital and other regions. Chavdar Municipality is the smallest municipality in Bulgaria with a population of 1233 people. Village of Chavdar is 69 500 dca, of which 50 850 dca are forests. Forest area of the municipality is a favorable environment for the development of hunting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Municipal infrastructure is well developed. New or renovated buildings are the local administration, school building, post office, library, kindergarten. The park in the village center Is suitable for recreation.
